(September 27, 2005/Greenville, SC) Board members of Greenville’s Poinsett Club today announced Brent E. Reeder as the club’s new General Manager and Chief Operating Officer replacing Warren Arseneaux who retired last month.

Mr. Reeder has been in the private club industry for nine years and is a member of Rotary of Greenville, Club Managers Association of America, Paladin Club, and Chaine des Rotisseurs.

He and his wife Emily have two young children – seven year old Ben and three year old Caroline.

“We are very fortunate to have a general manager of the caliber of Brent Reeder,” commented Phillip Kilgore, Poinsett Club president. “

“The candidates we interviewed were among the very best club managers in the country, and Brent was our first choice. Brent has the experience, knowledge and skills to take the Poinsett Club to new levels of quality.”

In addition, Poinsett Club officials recognized several employees celebrating milestones with the club.

  • Patti Huffman, Business and Human Resource Manager, celebrated 25 years with the Poinsett Club in September. With years of accounting expertise, Huffman is responsible for the club’s business affairs and assists the staff with human resources related issues.

“This is an exciting time for the Poinsett Club,” Kilgore added.
